Situated on Ortigia with parking just outside and a block from the Avis office, we spent two comfortable nights here. Our flight was very late, but we were greeted with smiles and assistance. Next day we were recommended a little boat trip around the island who was pleasant, and to the food market very close by, an absolute must. The intensity of flavours of arugula tomatoes and seafood was mind blowing.
Syracuse has the blend of old buildings beautifully renovated and this boutique hotel was a great example. Air conditioning was useful due to very warm days, although the balcony and sea breeze could have sufficed.
Breakfast was served on the upstairs terrace and was plentiful and delicious.
The proprietors son helped call to sort out a rental car situation.

Wonderful B&B perfectly located on Ortygia (Siracusa). The B&B is in a beautiful old building right on the Piazza Archimedes, though our room was protected from any noise on the piazza by facing a quiet side street. The host was welcoming and helpful with recommendations for restaurants and itinerary. The room was well air-conditioned and comfortable. Breakfast was good and served in a cheerful, sunny room overlooking the Piazza.

Located on the quieter side of Ortigia within Syracuse, this is a gem of a hidden hotel. Great service, great rooms, and great interior. Some of the sea view rooms also look out over the sunrise on the sea in the middle of summer. Wonderful.
"Beautiful hotel with a stupendous view of the sea."
We stayed at this hotel for three nights. It is on the island of Ortygia and we had requested a room with a sea view. They were not able to give us a room with a double bed; however, this turned out to be no problem at all since the beds were easily pushed together. The view of the sea was incredible. We kept the door to the balcony open all night to feel the cool breeze and hear the comforting sound of the sea. One morning we watched the sun rise on the horizon; evenings gave us a gorgeous display of the moon and stars. We had a rental car and, although finding a parking place was not always easy, we were helped by attendants who always managed to find us a space just outside the hotel. Breakfast (included with the room) was excellent with much variety, including scrambled eggs, prosciutto and cheeses, yogurt, cereals, fruit, as well as the more typical "continent breakfast" items of breads, croissants and pastries.

As soon as you step inside the entrance lobby, it feels as if you are in a boutique hotel that blends perfectly with the streets of Ortigia. This is only enhanced by the exposed stone features and quality furnishings in the other public areas on the ground floor. The library/lounge is particularly delightful. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment, (room 9), with an airy lounge and shared patio balcony. Plenty of space if a little functional. The small kitchen area and fridge came in handy for the odd lunch or aperativo.
Beatiful area, very friendly and helpful staff close to the warfe and market area.
walk to everything. Excellent breakfast. room was small but very comfortable and memorable !! Parking is about 200m from the hotel. Can't wait to go back !!
