My husband and I spent five nights at the Oleander B&B in November 2013. We felt very comfortable from the start after meeting Kathleen, our hostess. Our room was on the second floor at the front of the house and very comfortable. We did not have any problems with noise from the street and slept well each evening. Kathleen prepared a delicious breakfast every morning and spent time with her guests sharing stories and information about Napa and the surrounding areas. Kathleen also was helpful in recommending places to eat and suggestions for sight seeing within driving distance from Napa. We also enjoyed being greeted each morning by Max (the poodle) her loyal companion.

"Great location and comfort, but a bit confusing."
Booked a surprise trip to Calistoga for GF's birthday. When we arrived, we found the property easily enough and the attached restaurant, but no evident entrance to the hotel. There was a friendly member of the restaurant staff that helped us out. He checked my reservation information (from Expedia), to verify name/date/room number/etc. and assisted us in. Things were fantastic from there on. Our label with our name was attached to the door, we had a lovely room with balcony, large bathroom (shower and separate tub), beautiful breakfast basket and PERFECT location. We were able to walk throughout downtown Calistoga after an afternoon of winetasting, which was very nice and relaxing. Watch your email for the arrival instructions and entrance code and things will be absolutely fantastic .

We are a busy couple and did not have the time look for a hotel room in Napa Valley and as our anniversary date comes closer we found ourselves with slim pickings in Napa so a friend suggested that we should try Calistoga. Searching for hotel rooms I was immediately drawn to the Christopher Inn for its simple yet elegant ambience.
It was long but pleasant drive from Sacramento to Calistoga and was lucky to find we have Room 22 . The room was beautiful and clean . The glass shower really set the mood for married couples.
We are already set to be back this December. KUDOS for Christopher Inn!

Spent 5 days at River Pointe Resort last week and loved it. It was very quiet even though it was sold out. Lots of room (400 sq ft) and there are 2 sliding doors between the bedroom and kitchen with the bathroom in between. 2 TV's ad a nice sound system for your CD's. The patio was perfect to have wine and cheese and chat before dinner. We had a BBQ dinner every night and the BBQ was just a few steps away. The grounds are beautiful, everything exactly like the pictures show. The only downside was housekeeping. Maybe I didn't know what to expect since we had a kitchen but I was surprised that all week long nothing had been picked up, straightened or cleaned, I only knew they had come in because there were more towels. BUT, to my surprise when I walked in the last day we were there the bed was made, the horrible NON-Teflon pan we cooked eggs in was cleaned and everything looked nice. My 2 thoughts were, they either had our check out date wrong or they wanted a tip. Overall it's a great place to stay.
