"Wonderful hotel with Old World charm"
The hotel was so much more than I expected! The staff was welcoming, but unobtrusive. When I approached the concierge, he had many helpful suggestions and was able to offer advice on a wide variety of subjects. He assisted my family and I in booking a tour, and arranged for transportation when needed. He suggested places throughout the city that were interesting to us, after gentle questioning to determine our needs. He was as welcoming and hospitable as I would be to a guest in my own home, and treated us with a personal touch that would rival any five star hotel in London or Paris. The corner room was charming, the windows let in the most wonderful breezes, right at the hottest part of the afternoon and overlooked a lively street scene that was always entertaining. As the night cooled down, shutting the windows provided a good masking of the street ambience when it was time to sleep. Location was excellent- many restaurants and stores within easy walking range. Metro was two blocks away and easy to decipher. Was worried about the reported overcrowding, but didn't find it any different than the tube at peak hours. Lots of nightlife in the area- probably not the best area of the city for young children, but my university aged children enjoyed it! Fair warning, it is called " Zona Rosa" for a reason! Hotel was amazing, could rival anything in Europe at a quarter of the cost. I highly recommend it, and suggest asking for Señor Ariel for assistance during your stay!

"Nice hotel close to airport"
I didn't want to be out of airport this time. This hotel was good because this hotel connects to airport. My flight was delayed and arrived at late night. And next flight was early morning. But I found the check in counter was just infront of hotel. So I was sleeping exactly 2 hours ahead my flight. Furthermore, this hotel was very quiet despite close to airport. Nothing bothered my sleep! Very nice!!

"excellent place to stay"
I picked this hotel out of many in the same part of Mexico city, and the reason I choose this one was the fact that it look rather small ,intimate and warm, compared to the huge 50 floor hotels, the architecture is also different to the big hotel chains, the services are great, from the entrance there is a chain of people tending to your every need, there is a cafeteria right at the entrance, you can enjoy a good cup of coffee and a slice of cake while watching life in Mexico city pass by the window, or you can also order food there, there is also a restaurant with excellent food they open early and it stays open very late, security is tight yet very discrete, I actually did not realize there were security guards until I came back home, and wonder what the guys with blazers and ear pieces were doing standing at each entrance and at the elevator lobby, last thing to mention is the fact that we felt very safe in the area around the hotel, Mexico city government takes tourists safety very seriously

"Great Hotel! Mexico Rocks!"
First I will say if you really want to experience Mexico this is a good option to learn about their culture since is 3 blocks from El Zocalo and it is actually located at the "Centro Historico", also close to the stops from Turibus and Zocalo Metro Station. There is a restaurant close to the Hotel, is call San Francisco, pretty good food, and prices. Also everyone was so nice, and always willing to help. Also some typical Tacos Shop one block from Hotel, same good prices and pretty clean There was always a person at Reception, and Laura is the best!! Do not worry about feeling insecure, there is plenty of police officers around!
