Was pleasant and had good rest as felt at home..even it is in aged hotel. The sea breeze and morning sun from the sea...awesome. Looking forward for next getaway to Mahkota Malacca.

"Nice hotel nearby Jonker street"
Never expect I can get super excellent service at a low rate. Comfort room, nice environment, friendly staff, best location. Hotel located at street beside Jonker street, not so crowded but short walking distance to Jonker street. Easy finding car park lots.

"Gets everything right with extras thrown in"
No swimming pool, but who goes to Melaka to swim. Instead, praise should be accorded to the shower as it contains both the overhead rain shower as well as the regular handheld nozzle (which can also be mounted on a sliding bar), both can be set to be powerful and hot. Very spacious shower area, since they elected not to have a bathtub. The blackout curtains make the room dark even when the sun is at its brightest, (once closed you will bump into things), which is important for those who want to sleep in. Other than that, clean and good with room temp control, parking is easy and located almost right next to the famous blood cockles alley.

"Nice Hotel, Strategic location"
Good stay overall. Room was very clean and had modern concept. Some trouble at reception during check in (Room release delayed and slow) but staff were courteous to help. The sky bar in the hotel seemed to be a hot spot which resulted in no vacant parking lots for guests. We had to park by the road and re- park after 4am. Breakfast was ok. Strategic location- near to town, Portuguese settlement and many restaurants around the premises. Overall a pleasant stay and will surely recommend this hotel.

"Great Value in Great Location"
Spent one night with two other couples. The three rooms were all the same and we all had a very comfortable stay. For the price the amenities are very generous and the bathroom facilities are modern and comfortable

"Convenient location and beautiful hotel"
First, a few things about Melaka in general. 1. Cabs don't use meters, they just quote you a price and you are either happy to pay it or walking is always an option. 2. Beware of traffic jams during peak hours. A lot of Melaka's roads are a hodge lodge of one ways, narrow laneways. This slows up traffic pretty quickly so be aware of the time when traveling. 3. Monsoon season = mosquitoes everywhere. Do bring insect repellent unless you prefer being their dinner. Jonkey Boutique Hotel was a charming place to stay; we did for two nights. The location was very convenient to Jalan Hang Jebat which had some great restaurants and kitschy shops to browse in. It is a bit further from the town centre near Mahkota Parade - about 25 mins walk but it's a lovely walk when it's not raining since you go through the historical landmarks. The hotel and the room itself was great though be aware they don't have any lifts so luggage has to be carried up - woe to anyone who has heavy luggage with a room on the second floor! It was a lovely stay and I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone!

"Strategic Location"
Good Location - walking walk distance to Jonker Walk, Dataran Pahlawan and Mahkota shopping mall. It was quite difficult to find the hotel location as there was a road closure for the night market due to arrival during weekend. It took us to make a few searches in order to find the right lanes approching to the hotel.
