Hotel's situated in a good part of Seoul with good connections to major stations like Seoul Station. When reading other reviews about where it was situated I was worried I'd get lost finding it because even though I've been to Seoul several times I still manage to get lost, but it was very easy to find which was surprising considering it's tucked away quite a bit from the main street. Staff were very welcoming and friendly and were happy to cater to your needs. Rooms were a good size for a lone traveler like myself so the twin rooms are more than adequate if you're going on your own. There's a kettle and fridge and they also include complimentary goods like tea and coffee after your room is tidied up which was very convenient considering I developed a horrendous cold whilst flying out to Korea. Beds were very comfortable and pillows plush. Rian Hotel also include toiletries such as toothbrushes, lotions, shower gels, shampoos etc. as well so if you forget any rest assured there'll be a handsome amount in your room. The view wasn't the best as I was welcomed by extractor fans outside but it's difficult to get a good view when you're in the city anyway.
Enjoyed our stay here. Was much cleaner and newer than other hotels we stayed in. It was simple in the room, but clean and modern looking. Enjoyed the tub. Very close to the center of Seoul and to Insadong, where it was fun to walk around and shop.
we stayed here for 2 nights at the end of our trip to south korea. We were looking for a unique location that would give us a good flavor of seoul and was close to some tourist attractions. after researching many options, it seemed sunbee fit the bill for us: good price, fun location, boutique, and had good reviews so we booked and had a great experience! overall, we are very pleased with our stay at sunbee hotel and would recommend it to anyone travelling to the south korea, who is interested in the insadong area and a quiet hotel to rest at night. the hotel workers spoke plenty of english and were helpful with directions throughout our stay. im not sure life will take us to seoul again, but if it does we would love to revisit this area.
This boutique hotel is very nice and clean. Yes, it would be considered a love hotel, but it is very nicely and tastefully decorated with a contemporary design. All amenities, from use of in-room computer, all the toiletries one needs, the items in the mini fridge (iced coffee, water and juice) are all free! There was a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom and the toilet had an automatic bidet and dryer! The only thing that distinguishes this hotel from a regular boutique hotel to a love hotel is the condom discretely provided amongst the other amenities. That being said, I do not see this as a hotel where prostitutes take there clients. This is a young, hip boutique hotel where young couples go to spend a romantic night. Great Hotel for young couples and singles, not a good hotel for families. English is somewhat spoken, but I was able to communicate fine (gentleman on the late night shift spoke no english, but the 2 gentlemen during the day through evening did). I would recommend this hotel, but be aware that this part of town is more Korean with less foreigners so expect little english spoken in the nearby restaurants.
