The hotel has lots of extras. I love the slippers, bath robes, bidet, laptop, and wonderful beddings. The location is close to everything. May others think the location is a little iffy since you may have to walk into some alley ways, and it seems that it could be unsafe at night. Knowing Seoul, although the alley ways seems unsafe, I am sure it isn't so. The breakfast offers a lot of options also. Very happy with the hotel.
Enjoyed our stay here. Was much cleaner and newer than other hotels we stayed in. It was simple in the room, but clean and modern looking. Enjoyed the tub. Very close to the center of Seoul and to Insadong, where it was fun to walk around and shop.
I stayed at Doulos Hotel from 12-09 to 12-11. The hotel was fairly easy to find given the directions by email from the hotel. The front desk clerk who checked me in was very kind and later when I found that the nice flat sceen Samsung tv wasn't working, I called her downstairs and within a couple of minutes there was a maintenance worker at my door who got the tv working real fast, excellent! I didn't have any devices to access the internet and when I asked if there were any near by internet cafes, they opened up a closed area for me to use the internet so I could communicate with family back home, excellent! Every single hotel staff worker was extremely helpful and kind to me and the quality of the hotel and room is 2nd to none. I want to thank all the hotel staff workers that made me feel welcomed and made my 1st stay in Seoul an excellent experience.
we stayed here for 2 nights at the end of our trip to south korea. We were looking for a unique location that would give us a good flavor of seoul and was close to some tourist attractions. after researching many options, it seemed sunbee fit the bill for us: good price, fun location, boutique, and had good reviews so we booked and had a great experience! overall, we are very pleased with our stay at sunbee hotel and would recommend it to anyone travelling to the south korea, who is interested in the insadong area and a quiet hotel to rest at night. the hotel workers spoke plenty of english and were helpful with directions throughout our stay. im not sure life will take us to seoul again, but if it does we would love to revisit this area.
This was an amazing placed hotel in the city of Seoul. Close to shops, historical spaces and 1 block from the subway. Starbucks, 7 Eleven and many authentic food outlets within 100 steps of the front door.
Rooms were a little small but had good storage - just not a lot of space for giant suitcases. Staff was great. Walking distance to Insadong and Kwangjang market is across the street. Two subway stations a short walk away. Price was good - I'd stay there again. Starbucks next door and Paris Baguette and Dunkin Donuts around the corner.
