This was an amazing placed hotel in the city of Seoul. Close to shops, historical spaces and 1 block from the subway. Starbucks, 7 Eleven and many authentic food outlets within 100 steps of the front door.
Had a great stay at the Sunbee in June 2014. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and spoke enough English. Our room was large and comfortable, and extremely quiet (no interesting view). The location -- just steps from the center of Insadong's main street -- was ideal.
Enjoyed our stay here. Was much cleaner and newer than other hotels we stayed in. It was simple in the room, but clean and modern looking. Enjoyed the tub. Very close to the center of Seoul and to Insadong, where it was fun to walk around and shop.
In general, the hotel was new, very clean, and had a pretty convenient location.
Rooms were small though, and the toilet lacked a screen for the shower area, which resulted in a very wet toilet whenever anyone showered.
Also, the lighting was poor, especially in the toilet, which made it hard to put on makeup. The room lacked a full length mirror (we later found the mirror hidden on the door of the cupboard, but it was not full length).
Another issue was that I requested via expedia for early check-in, and also emailed the hotel, but they did not respond. Upon arrival, I was told that we could do an early check-in if we paid W33,000 (which we did as we were exhausted from the red eye flight).
I have lived in Seoul due to my assignment for a year. I have stayed 11 months of this 12 months in this very good place, after staying 1 month in a very small room in another residence.
During my assignment, I met the one, and I got married from Korea. When I visit Korea in my vacations, this place is our first preference to stay for me and my wife.
The owners and the staff is really helpful and you will see that more than a customer-owner relationship, you are treated like a friend. You will not feel away from home.
All rooms of this facility have their own unique style and they are very comfortable. This place is really wider than majority of 5 star hotels in Seoul. (I know because I have stayed in some)
They provide you wired-wireless internet services for your own room, and fully furnished place for you to live in, including washing machine, fridge, microwave and other utilities. You can stay here for long term as you are at your home.
The place is very central. You can walk to the nearest subway station in 5 minutes, or with a cab, you can reach to the central places in Seoul in 5-10 minutes. The biggest two palaces are in walkway distance, including Insadong, a place to place of visit for some souvenirs.
The comfort you will have here will not make you feel any difference than 5 star hotels.
This place will always be my first choice for my future visits...
"Nice hotel, very new. Very close to Nandaemun Mkt"
The hotel is very new and clean, with great facilities. A large tub and shower, a multi-functional toilet, comfortable and clean beds. The facilities are very nice and clean and very well maintained. Rooms have good amenities. The staff are helpful. Location is nice, you feel safe walking just half a block down and then over to Nandaemun Market and several little shops to get a bite to eat. But. It is not a reasonable walking distance to the palaces. It is an inexpensive cab ride (5000 Won or $5) will easily get you there. BUT. Here's the big negative: Cab Drivers CANNOT FIND THIS PLACE. Using the information on the hotel registration online and even from Expedia, the address given in Korean will not work in the navigators the cab drivers use. The hotel desk will smile and give you a nice card to hand to cab drivers. This will also not get you back to the hotel. I don't know what's wrong, but it takes you to a back alley a block away. Get the hotel's number and have the driver call the front desk and ask directions. It may work. I had a driver barely get there that way. I think it must be either a translation error with their printed materials or that the hotel is not in the navigator system yet because the hotel is so new. So... be prepared with a map on your phone (in English and Hangul) and a phone number. It's a great hotel for the price.

Ramada Seoul Jongno is located in the center of history and culture area between Jongno 3-ga and Jongno 5-ga subway station. …More
This boutique hotel is very nice and clean. Yes, it would be considered a love hotel, but it is very nicely and tastefully decorated with a contemporary design. All amenities, from use of in-room computer, all the toiletries one needs, the items in the mini fridge (iced coffee, water and juice) are all free! There was a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom and the toilet had an automatic bidet and dryer! The only thing that distinguishes this hotel from a regular boutique hotel to a love hotel is the condom discretely provided amongst the other amenities. That being said, I do not see this as a hotel where prostitutes take there clients. This is a young, hip boutique hotel where young couples go to spend a romantic night. Great Hotel for young couples and singles, not a good hotel for families. English is somewhat spoken, but I was able to communicate fine (gentleman on the late night shift spoke no english, but the 2 gentlemen during the day through evening did). I would recommend this hotel, but be aware that this part of town is more Korean with less foreigners so expect little english spoken in the nearby restaurants.
