My production team and I from Los Angeles stayed at SLA hotel for 4 nights. The moment we arrived to the location, the staff was really friendly and accommodating; as they even tried to help us with heavy video equipment to our room. The Loft was great, it was clean, and really looked modern. They were very immediate about fixing any issues. When we arrived around 9pm to the loft, our WI-FI in our room was not working. So they immediately came and resolve the problem, and had the WI-FI back up in 30 minutes. The beds were comfortable, as I was able to get good nights rests after long days of shooting. Also it was really nice to have a washer as we were able to wash our clothes. I would definitely come back and stay here anytime I'm back in Seoul for work or vacation.
Enjoyed our stay here. Was much cleaner and newer than other hotels we stayed in. It was simple in the room, but clean and modern looking. Enjoyed the tub. Very close to the center of Seoul and to Insadong, where it was fun to walk around and shop.
A lovely hotel close to the subway and close to many tourist attractions. It was clean, warm, bright, good Wi-Fi, the staff were friendly and attentive, and I have nothing bad to say about the hotel itself. HOWEVER, it is tucked in behind the Sutton Place Hotel, and taxis can't take you right to the front door, and it can be a bit of a challenge to find, although the name of the hotel is easily seen way up high. GPS will take you to an inaccessible alley around behind it, so don't rely on it completely.
Well-located to airport bus and key heritage sites. Special touches like free breakfast and a goodbye chocolate. Front desk called my room to wish me happy birthday when they noticed the date after check-in.
Not as suited to business travels as there is no desk on which to work.
It's surrounded by many restaurants, street foods, and only takes like 5-10 minutes by walking to Insadong and 15-20 minutes to Myeongdong. So convenience! The staff are pretty friendly. And the hotel itself offers so many amenities - many more than 5 stars hotel. (Because I spent 2 nights in Grand Hyatt before moved here.) I can't say it's the best. But consider that it's just a small hotel, it's perfect in its way. Will definitely go back and stay there again!!
This boutique hotel is very nice and clean. Yes, it would be considered a love hotel, but it is very nicely and tastefully decorated with a contemporary design. All amenities, from use of in-room computer, all the toiletries one needs, the items in the mini fridge (iced coffee, water and juice) are all free! There was a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom and the toilet had an automatic bidet and dryer! The only thing that distinguishes this hotel from a regular boutique hotel to a love hotel is the condom discretely provided amongst the other amenities. That being said, I do not see this as a hotel where prostitutes take there clients. This is a young, hip boutique hotel where young couples go to spend a romantic night. Great Hotel for young couples and singles, not a good hotel for families. English is somewhat spoken, but I was able to communicate fine (gentleman on the late night shift spoke no english, but the 2 gentlemen during the day through evening did). I would recommend this hotel, but be aware that this part of town is more Korean with less foreigners so expect little english spoken in the nearby restaurants.
