"Good hotel, ten minute walk from old city."
Our first time in Israel. Stayed in this hotel for 7 days. Hotel was in a very safe area. The location was great since it was only a ten minute walk from Old City and light rail. Hotel staff were very helpful. Room was always clean and also had a nice terrace. Cant really say anything negative about this hotel. Would definitely stay there again.

"Absolutely excellent for the price."
I recommend paying a bit more for the balcony room. It's excellent for that price. The neighborhood is lovely and just a 20 minute walk from Jaffa Gate.

"Great location in Jerusalem. "
The Arthur hotel is in an amazing location. You can walk to the old city, the market, the old city, everything is close by. The staff is wonderful. Breakfast and happy hour in the evening were a very nice touch. Only hiccup was an awful tour guide for the old City which was arranged through the hotel. This isn't really the hotel's fault but he diminished the Christian relevance of things, rushed the tour (and there were seniors with us who eventually just dropped out) and took us to places where we were overcharged and he made commission from our purchases only. Other than the places where he got a commission he would not even stop to allow us to purchase water while walking through the market. The name of the tour company was rent-a-guide. Other than our encounter with him Jerusalem is an amazing place. I highly suggest a tour of the underground tunnels of Jerusalem.

"Decent price. Good enough."
Not bad. Booked it for the pool. Spoke with the Expedia agent for an hour to do the flight and hotel booking. Turns out the pool is only open 2 months a year! Little outdated, but good enough. Friendly staff. You need to iron in the laundromat! Ok though.

"Reasonable hotel w/ excellent breakfast"
Best part of this hotel was the breakfast and location. Breakfast had a GREAT variety of healthy foods - more traditionally Israeli but it seemed like there were some nice additions to accommodate US travelers such as scrambled eggs and fruit. Rooms & bathroom are adequate & clean - along the lines of a US Holiday Inn although much more pricey than US hotels. Beds/pillows are comfortable - actually better than typical US hotels; we had 2 twin beds. Fairly spacious w/ good counter space in bathroom. Location very good - approx. 12-15 min. walk to Old City and 5 min. walk to major shopping/market areas.

"Nice hotel near old city and in the middle of nigh"
We had a great time and would go back. Rooms were clean and modern. Great bars and restaraunts right next door, so close that the sound can be heard from hotel bed rooms. The breakfast was one of the best meals I had in Israel, simple, elegant and delicious. Parking is difficult near hotel and staff needed to be prodded to assist with providing a clue.
