"Very nice comfortable hotel & very friendly staff"
The hotel is very close to the Hoan Kiem Lake and in the old town of Hanoi. The staff is very friendly, pleasant and helpful. Toni, who is very nice, recommended and arranged our day trip to Hoa Lu and Tam Coc (Halong Bay land tour) and we enjoyed the day very much. The room is clean, comfortable and nice with all the amenities and free wi-fi. There is no elevator but the staff carried our luggage to our room. Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate and the food is very good. Toni arranged for our transportation to the airport. We could not have asked for more at this very affordable rate. We enjoyed very much our stay there and we definitely recommend this hotel.

"Great Location"
Cannot fault the Hanoi Moment Hotel, being in the Hotel Industry ourselves it was a pleasure to stay there. The staff are extremely friendly & helpful, nothing is too much trouble - would love to have them in our reception! Location is fantastic, a short walk to the Lake & sights - you really are right amongst the action. Great value for money for a small family style boutique hotel.

"Perfect for visiting Hanoi"
Right in the heart of the Old Quarter, on a main shopping street, means this hotel has just about everything you need within a two minute walk. Of course, you'll venture further afield, and that's as easy as too. Staff were magnificent. They made sure everything was just right, and always greeted you each morning and each time you returned to your hotel by name.

Good in location, service, breakfast and money value. It's just small problem like no window for the room, morning smell cook to our room.

"Staff was amazing"
I booked well in advance, however with a typhoon in Halong Bay, we were forced back to Hanoi two nights early. Since our group was large and we didnt want to bounce around a bunch, after the first night in a late check in hotel (the tour arranged for us) I logged onto my expedia account to book this hotel for one night early. Expedia had no problem doing it, but the issue was when we went to check in. They did not have enough rooms for all of us (Three total). So two rooms were displaced to the sister hotel across the street, but I kept my room at the Glance and it was an upgrade!! The hotel was beautiful, staff was beyond amazing (Hi Anna!!) and the breakfast was fresh, delicious, and plentiful! Besides the booking discrepancy, which was hard to avoid with the typhoon, and was really probably Expedia's fault, I couldn't say more nice things about our stay here. A bell boy (I've forgotten his name unfortunately) even walked us to the HandSpan office to fetch our bags from the Halong Bay tour fiasco and took a cab back to the hotel with them so we didn't have to carry them through the busy streets of Hanoi or be bothered wasting some of our valuable adventure time with the task. This would be a very expensive favor in any other hotel, but i was never charged for it and the Bell Boy refused individual tips (There is a tip box at the front desk at least). The staff here goes above and beyond, and it was a beautiful, clean, lovely hotel to get away from the crazy city!

"Great hotel in old quarter"
We stayed at maison d'hanova Hanoi hotel for four days in Febrary. THe hotel is spotless and sophisticated, witha good restaurant and within walking distance of excellent Vietnamese restaurants, including Madame Hsien, French coffee houses, shopping and art galleries. The Temple of lLiterature and Fiine Arts museum are about a 20 -minute walk.

"Great value and comfortable and clean"
this hotel is located down a lane way and had me worried at first but this proved a bonus as it was away from the traffic noise. The location was great with attractions, nice eateries and shopping close by. One of the best Pho eateries is in the same laneway and great Viet coffee on the corner. The staff were friendly and helpful and gave great advice on where to go and how much things should 'really' cost. The room is small by western comparisons but more than adequate and it was clean and tidy. Great value! I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to crash and a great breakfast every morning before heading out on your next daily trek.

"Nice hotel"
I was in Hanoi, VietNam, on a holiday. I was staying in Serene Hotel. The room was very comfortable with an excellent cleanliness. The maids ensured my room was immaculate on a daily basis and the reseptionist was very friendly and extremely helpful. The location of the hotel was perfect for us,it was so close to the Lake and the markets. The beds in the room were very comfortable and room facilities were the same how they did advertise. What I did not like about this hotel is its restaurant. On the pictures its looked like so big but actually its very small.Overall this dislike I will certainly be staying here again. :)

Pocket Guide: Hanoi Hoan Kiem 3 stars Hotels

The atmospheric, narrow streets of Hanoi's Hoan Kiem have much to offer travelers, including history museums, temples, and water puppet theatre. Hoan Kiem Lake features its own temple, 8th century Jade Mountain Temple, as well as a small tower, built on an islet to honor the lake's legendary giant tortoise. The lake is also a great spot for people watching or relaxing with a book.
