I booked the suite and I am very happy with it. I don't know how big or comfortable the regular rooms are. The suite was large. I like the price. The hotel staff was very kind and prompt. The breakfast buffet could be better. I loved most the location. It is in the middle of the tourist strip and I could walk everywhere: the convenience store, laundromat, the mall, the light rail station and restaurants. The bay was close by. Chinatown (with its gorgeous shopping) and Mall of Asia are just a short cab ride. The airport was easy to get to. The facilities are a bit dated but are well kept and housekeeping does a good job. I will use this hotel many more times in the future
I highly recommend you use the hotel's airport shuttle service. my drivers name was July his advice and experience on manila is priceless .any transport needs you have talk to this guy first and he will help you out..
the other staff were really friendly and go out there way to help you. I had two nights in the standard rooms and two in the superior rooms and to be honest there is not much difference in them.they were clean, the beds were comfy with good TV and A/C.the food was very nice and a good menu offered although quite expensive for Asian prices but worth it. its just a short walk to Robinson mall which is huge and has everything you could want to buy from many European brands.not far from there is the mall of Asia, which im told is the largest in all of asia. the hotel is quiet but once you leave the street it stands on you will know you're in major City, so expect to see what naturally comes with this.street kids, beggers the usual inner city things. though I did not have any problems.
I will stay here again in the future
I stayed here the last two nights of my trip. I have stayed here many times but this was my favorite mainly because of the hotel room. They have really done a outstanding job with the renovations. Will be returning again and again on my yearly visited to the Philippines.
Nothing to compain about, nice enough room, clean at good price, silly that if you book with hotel at front desk it is 1/3 more than if you book on line with expedia in there lobby, make no sense to me...However cleaning staff did not check out or room in a timely fashion, took 25 minutes and had to complain to get it done that it was allready 25 mins

This is my second time at this hotel and I like because the area has everything, the Robinson mall a few blocks from the hotel, the did fine much problem, since I last stayed at this hotel the area looks much better, I didn't see much panhandlers, you can go out at nite and don't have to worry about anyone bothering you. I also ride the train which is around the corner, you just have to know where you are going and your ride will be great.
have stayed in this hotel a few times , nice rooms , (but do not book the cheapest one), friendly staff, good breakfast , and maybe importantly close to the ocean side boulevard, where everybody seems to be walking , jogging early mornings on Sat and Sun. with not too bad traffic just 20 to 30 min from airport (less than 200 Pisos with metered taxi). But direct neighborhood a bit run down, although if you like good life music with some beers you will enjoy the Cowboy Grill almost next door. Most evenings more than one band playing ( large stage) with enthusiastic crowds.
