Spent a couple of days in Manila as part of a trip to Asia. I'd booked with another hotel nearby that was so terrible I walked away from my last two prepaid nights (of three) and moved to the Manila Pavilion. I booked a room on the executive floor and it was worth the extra money. The floor was quiet, well air conditioned, clean and modern in every way - it was everything the hotel I left wasn't. Do yourself a favor and don't cheap out on your Manila hotel. This place was nice.
Stayed 2 nights while waiting for our flight back to states. Convenient to downtown and airport. Older, but comfortable hotel. Computer facilities for flight confirmation for a reasonable fee. Helpful staff. 2 good restaurants on premises. All in all a good place to prepare for flight. Older, but still comfortable facilities. As everywhere in the Philippines; a very pleasant and helpful staff.
"Hotel close to some attractions but a few concerns"
Hotel rooms were fine but WiFi seemed a bit unstable. There are 2 elevators and front desk is located on 9th floor, which means there can be some waiting anytime you want to go in and out of your room or to the front desk. Breakfast area was nice. Ermita area doesn't seem like a nice area to walk around but heading toward Intramuros area is nice.
"Walking distance to the mall- everything is there!"
It's always a thrill to be in Manila- Las Palmas makes it all the more better because it is so close to everything- mall, restaurants along Roxas Blvd- we walked to Aristocrat, my fav eating place since childhood..

Centrally located in the heart of Manila's Business and Tourist district, this superior tourist-class hotel offers …More
Arrived at the hotel at night and it was raining bad and it there was flood.Took awhile before hotel crew managed to help us come out from the taxi.It seems that they don't have emergency plan in case of heavy rain and flooding in manila and this area always flood whenever it rain.Restaurant fair, server fair.Bedsheets very old.Cannot adjust with the warm shower,no matter how you adjust it still give very hot water.
Decided to go with this hotel after reading many reviews and have to say it was an excellent choice. The decor was top quality with a very modern and minimalist feel. The room comes with a TV, aircon, large bed and first class toilet and shower facilities.
The room was cleaned to perfection daily and the service was great when required, from the help received to booking an airport transfer to the member of staff at the front who always opens the door for you.
The restaurant connected to the hotel has decent food. The included breakfast was perfect and the rest of the menu was very reasonably priced for lunch and dinner.
The only negative I can think of is the location of the hotel. The Malate district is known as "the ghettos" of Manila, with homeless, beggars and pick-pockets everywhere, so one wrong turn down a side street could in misery. However, if you are smart and use your common sense, this should not be a problem at all. The Robinsons Mall is a stone throw away with lots to do there, whilst other locations are within driving distance.
Overall, a very nice and pleasant experience in a hotel which I would highly recommend.
The hotel was clean and comfortable. Everything they claim on the website is true. Clean towels and washrags, as well as a clean bathroom and living area. The staff was friendly and polite. It is in a good location.
