"The place is clean. They clean the room everyday."
My husband is meticulous abt. the cleanliness of the room & the things that we use in the hotel, e.g. the towel, they change it everyday. We always recvd. the room, clean & neat. The rate is affordable with full breakfast so my husband & I are happy.
first of all we booked a standard room on the net for 1320php a night which did'nt sound too bad for Manila. Then we got upgraded upon arrival to am not sure what , Deluxe perhaps . superb room 40m2 or so , nice lighting , big screen tv with loads of channel , good wifi. Breakfast wasnt included and did'nt try it (prefer fruits anyway) so no opinion. Tried the restaurant on the other hand , went for some veggie risotto which proved fresh enough though a tad bland for my acquired philippino buds. warning : prices are almost european so was a bit of a shock to pay 700php for 1 plate+1 beer.
on the other hand in Europe we d bowled over by such a deal. there is one 10% cover charge which u need to add to prices on the menu , which i failed to see and therefore did'nt like. the swimming pool is very pleasant. free newspaper on your doorstep in the morning.
This is the second review as I was double booked by mistake. I booked January 13-14 and then went back to book January 12-13. When I reached the confirmation page I was horrified to see my reservations date had somehow been changed to 13-14. I think this might be because I was trying to book a room within 72 hours. Regardless there should have been warnings and alerts my dates were being changed before I was confirmed. All I got was confirmation of the changed date and a nice note saying it was non-refundable. My Credit Card company assures me it will not be a problem as I was double-booked by mistake. The Customer Service people at Expedia were friendly but eventually did nothing. The Hotel staff assured me there was nothing for them to do- as it was Expedia's error. Strange-scary. I have never had dates changed without my knowledge before. But the Hotel was excellent and I will recommend it.
Nothing to compain about, nice enough room, clean at good price, silly that if you book with hotel at front desk it is 1/3 more than if you book on line with expedia in there lobby, make no sense to me...However cleaning staff did not check out or room in a timely fashion, took 25 minutes and had to complain to get it done that it was allready 25 mins

I stayed here the last two nights of my trip. I have stayed here many times but this was my favorite mainly because of the hotel room. They have really done a outstanding job with the renovations. Will be returning again and again on my yearly visited to the Philippines.
Nice hotel, very accessible to about everything that you might need in your stay in Manila. Luneta park is a walking distance, about 15 minutes from the hotel. American Embassy is just 10 to 12 minutes walk. Most food establishments are short distance pretty much. Robinson Mall is very close. What it amounts to, I definitely recommend this hotel if your looking for a place to spend your time in Manila. Likewise, do your reservation on line.

Had a wonderful stay, staff was overly polite and willing to cater to any need I had. The view was great from 32nd floor on the bay. Very big mall with 30+ dining options inside less than a one minute walk away. I would stay again and recommend to anyone to stay here.
my stay was for 2 weeks and I found it to be a very nice experience, the staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make me feel welcome.
I had issues with the way they had breakfast set up, when you get to the dining area you have to fill out a breakfast sheet showing what you want, the sheet is very confusing so I just went to the nearby by McDonals so I wouldn't have to deal with it.
