"Gorgeous views"
Our stay was lovely...our first room bathroom was barely existent so definitely look at your room when checking in before taking the room. Room 310 has the best bathroom and overall accommodation. The food is not great so I'd suggest eating elsewhere. But overall I loved it!

"Weekend break"
We stayed in this hotel on the recommendation of family. It was superb! Very friendly staff and we loved the ambience of the restaurant. During our stay there were 2 weddings on and a large coach tour but this didn't affect the efficiency of the restaurant staff. The hotel is not modern or contemporary, but this adds to the whole experience. Very clean, comfortable and fantastic food. They also cater for dietary needs such as gluten free.

"Nice hotel but beech next to factory"
Hotel leisure facilities were out of order. Which was the main reason for using the hotel. They recommended sister hotel for facilities which was an hour away. There was no mention of a discount for the inconvenience. I was told to contact expedia to sort out. Which j did not have time to do given it was short notice. Very unreasonable Response from hotel.

"Beautiful location"
After attending this hotel for many years as a child myself I was excited to take my own children to share the experience. As always the location is breath taking, and the hotel does have a certain charm. The Vista lounge is wonderful and fully optimises the stunning views. Our room which is supposed to accomodate two adults and two children was a little cramped but clean and tidy. They also need some sound proofing as we did spend three nights hearing our next door neighbour snore. The meals were all good and we were never disappointed. They had good provisions for two allergic children as well which gluten free pasta, cereal and bread. Staff were attentive and polite. For those who used the hotel previously before it was a Luxury Family Hotel may be a little disappointed that the bar has been removed, but it's perfect for those like us with children. Our children loved the 'Den' and the activities which were arranged there, as well as the cinema in the evening.

The Longboat Inn

Market Jew Street, Penzance - Map
"Central location"
This is really more of a pub with some rooms attached, which was fine for me, but they do have a disco until 2 on Friday and Saturday. Across the road from the bus and train stations so good if you've traveling by public transport.

Park View Townhouse

58 Kimberley Park Road, Falmouth - Map
"Very good location for the town and eating out. "
The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially when we had a problem with the toilet which was fixed quickly. The breakfast was substantial and there were good choices. I had smoked haddock and lovely poached eggs and my husband a full English. Cereals, fruit, yoghurt, juice etc available also. The only real negative is that the hotel looks a bit tired from the outside and some areas inside but clean. Falmouth is a good place for exploring The Lizard and visiting the lost gardens of Heligan and the Eden project, both worth a visit. Lots of places to eat in Falmouth, we'd recommend The Hut, lovely food.
