"Cracking hotel with old Victorian character."
Had a 4 night stay there for my wife's birthday. Hotel staff could not do enough for us and arranged surprise flowers on my behalf for my wife. Did not want to leave.

"Fabulous Location and Views of Atlantic Ocean"
We live in the US and stayed for 2 nights with my brother and his wife who live in Yorkshire. We all thoroughly enjoyed the hotel, the food, the location and the fabulous views. We wished we could have stayed longer. The fitness centre was great and we were stunned with the gardens and the terrific views and walks. Would highly recommend and would stay again if in Mullion. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful and the food was great!

"Total Relaxation"
Had a wonderful weekend at Camelot Castle Hotel. The reception rooms are simply stunning while the atmosphere was totally relaxing so much so that we felt as though we were staying with friends rather than in a hotel. Even our dog was welcomed at the hotel, we have stayed at hotels that are supposedly dog friendly before only to find they are anything but. However at Camelot really is dog friendly with our pooch being able to accompany us into all parts of the hotel. The views from the hotel are simply breathtaking and the location is perfect making it a tranquil haven for total relaxation.

"hotel ok but they have got the leisure side wrong"
There are some really goods points; the bar area and lounge are very well done - although these areas clearly have been this way for many years and the regal look remains attractive. Room was ok; basic TV with no sky or movies as options. My only reason for classing this hotel as generaly OK was the dissapointing spa area - sauna was the size of a telephone box, changing room had 1 seat to seat down on, tiny lockers, two showers which took up 3 times the space that everyone had to change in; whilst i was changing there were 7 people trying to dress in a 3 metre square area. Pool cleaning kit left by the bubble spa but easily the worst thing was the amount of locals that poored in, there seems to be a membership option meaning both the gym and pool area were populated by alot of them particulalry young lads aiming to get buff with their mates - I did speak to a couple of hotel guests who found it intimidating and far from inviting. One more thng - the resurant staff were at times inexperienced; i had to ask for knives and forks etc which i thought was a given in that job.

"Lovely place to stay."
Me and my partner enjoyed our stay at the Fountain Tavern, we found the staff welcoming and were asked on arrival if we would like to book for dinner in the evening, we had already made alternative plans so I cannot comment on the food. We found the room comfortable and I especially liked the features such as the window seat and the stained glass in the cupboard which was turned into a wardrobe. The bed was comfortable and the carpet was a high pile and lovely under foot. My only downpoint was that the bedside tables were quite wobbly and perhaps a lower quality to the rest of the room, however this did not affect our stay. The Tavern is within walking distance to the centre of Penzance and the harbour. In the morning we went downstairs with breakfast and were greeted with a choice of cereals and toast, a full Cornish breakfast (full english with extras), and a couple of additional choices. Me and my partner both had the full Cornish which was delicious. We would definitely stay at the Fountain Tavern again and would recommend it to any of our friends and family.
