From check in to check out this hotel just reflected top quality, the city of Antwerp is such a beautiful city and where this hotel is located just reflects the right place to stay. It stands out on the big square as an icon of quality & history. We were there for the Special Olympics and spent 9 nights in the hotel and after a hard day sitting in a sporting location the hotel was a fantastic place to come home to / explore the city from.
Boutique hotel with individually designed rooms (all different so perhaps state your choice when booking). young staff very friendly and professional. Nice set breakfast, super coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice. Very cosy and stylish a good winter choice.

"Clean friendly but tight with tea coffee and milk."
Lots roadworks around hotel at moment. Dont come home late and expect to park car again was full and barrier would not open. Do like others we parked on slip road leading into car park. Good bus and tram into the beautiful city. Was no english tea in room and coffee and powered milk sparce. But in all fairness was told we could have called down and some extras would have been sent up. No bisciuts but ash tray in room so could smoke if wanted to! Which was a bonus and a surprise as very rare one of us smokes. Thing is rooms just didnt smell of smoke. So smoked outside. large beds but tended to slightly part during the night. Ok if you like to sleep apart and you dont cuddle in the middle.
I had a long journey by train from Munich so the last thing I wanted was a long walk from the train station or an expensive taxi ride. This hotel is nicely located next to the station in Antwerp, yet the city noise is minimal. It's close enough for a nice walk to the pier, the Mas Museum or the Cathedral. Plus, there are a lot of charming restaurants in the area, including the hotel itself.
The room was very clean and spacious. It even had air conditioning, very unusual for the hotels I've seen in Europe.
The next time I stay in Antwerp, I'll definitely be back to the Lindner!
Perfect location for our needs. Returning to UK via Rotterdam - Hull after a short holiday in Germany, Holland and Belgium with friends, we decided to visit Antwerp for the first time. The city was commemorating the First World War by building a pontoon bridge over the river Scheldt. A pontoon bridge was used during the war for escaping citizens from the German invasion. Enjoying bright sunshine, we were able to look around the city centre taking in the cathedral and other attractions
The hotel is directly across the street from the train station, 5 minutes from the zoo, and a 20 minute walk from the heart of the tourist attractions. The hotel room was small but clean, the breakfast buffet fantastic, and the staff very helpful. For a few days stay in Antwerp I would recommend this hotel.
I stayed in the hotel a week and was very happy with everything, the staff were friendly, the room was clean and large by European standards and everything worked. Would stay here again.
My only gripe was the Wi-Fi in the room was a bit expensive - 17 EUR/day or 88 EUR/week. I got the weekly deal and it worked great, super-fast and always on. Alternatively you can use the free Wi-Fi in the lobby which worked well also.
