"Belltown Inn"
Very convenient and right in the heart of the area. Secure parking is available (for a reasonable price). Short walks to everything. This is an older hotel that has been updated. Very quiet but well furnished with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, excellent WiFi, and large kitchen sink. The rooms are on the small side and best suited for one or two. If you are looking for a new modern giant sized place this is not for you. It is what it is and with a very helpful and courteous staff my wife and i have enjoyed several stays at the Belltown Inn.

"Amazing price, amazing location, very impressed!"
We stayed here two nights following New Year's Eve this year. First time in Seattle and booked it according to previous reviews. It lives up to it's reviews. Although not much to look at on the outside the inside it nicely done and very clean, the bedrooms look just as nice as some of the Hyatt hotels I have stayed in. Perfectly comfortable beds with down duvets. Walking distance to the market and very close to the space needle. All with an affordable price that includes a hot breakfast! Those waffles were delicious! Can't wait to return! The front desk staff ladies were very helpful in guiding us around the top tours and attractions and pointed me toward hidden gems when I wanted to find a great cup of coffee! Thanks! See you again!

"Why did I stay in the conference hotel?"
I stayed at this B&B the night before a conference at the Sheraton about 8 blocks away, with one other traveler. I liked the place and would stay again. Our room had a queen bed and a single/twin. My friend took the twin and reported a sunken spot in the middle of it, visible with the blankets pulled back. Its more broken-in sofa than bed I think. The queen bed was fine, the room worked overall. There were plenty of bathrooms and showers on the floor I thought. Breakfast at 8:00 AM means breakfast at 8:00 AM! And that was fine, but I'd have been buying breakfast if I stayed here during the conference (sessions started at 8:30 AM). Breakfast was served at the table, rather than a buffet, sliced fruit, toast, and English muffins with peanut butter, jam and butter, as much French press coffee as we could drink, orange juice, it was very nice. Only stayed one night so I don't know if they mix it up with breakfast. This was a Thursday morning (thank you, Julie!). The view from the living room, where breakfast was served, is fantastic. Go out on the fire escape and take a few pictures early in the morning. The living room was nice and on another trip I'd sit, read and enjoy it for a while. I moved over to the conference hotel after one night, to be a little closer to the action, but I would have been very happy staying here. Good location near Pike Market. There was a terrific wine bar and charcuterie place, just a few doors down on the left as you exit the B&B. Awesome meal.

"Nice hotel & location"
We arrived a few hours early and were quickly accomodated with an early check-in. Room was clean, beds were comfortable. Complimentary water bottles and coffee. Free cupcakes during "happy hour" in the lobby. Free bike rentals and umbrellas to use. They also have a free shuttle service with friendly drivers! Definitely a huge bonus when it's raining, even though the hotel is pretty close to everything in the first place. We had a few hours to kill after checking out of the hotel, so they let us leave our luggage at the hotel, shuttled us over to Pike for lunch, then brought our bags from the hotel to shuttle us from Pike Place to the light rail. Above and beyond!

"Breakfast is fantastic"
worth to stay. I really enjoyed breakfast. Location is good close to downtown easy to go anywhere. parking is not free. you must pay for parking. If you want free parking. you'd better go to the 2400 motel. there you park free of charge. Restaurant Shilla right in front of the hotel is very good and delicious.

"Great boutique hotel in the heart of Belltown"
If you enjoy small, boutique hotels with a "hostel-feeling" then this is the hotel for you. The location was phenomenal being right next to places like The Innkeeper and Black Bottle and also a short cab / walk to Pike Place Market and Downtown Seattle. People were great and their pet policy is awesome (no fees as long as they are under 300 lbs!). Overall, great experience and one I would do again.

"Vintage. Wonderful ambiance. Classic."
We did not get the queen bed that was reserved. We got a double bed. It was kinda tight. The front desk clerk was rather abrupt when we were asking about parking. H-o-w-e-v-e-r, the room was scrubbed spotless. The linens immaculate. The room appointments are vintage, comfortable, and simple. The building is sturdily built from another era so there were n-o- disturbances and fabulously quiet. The restaurant in the basement was excellent and convienient for early morning coffees and evening drinks. We also ate 2 late lunches there and the food was very good. The location is in the center of all things urban and 2 blocks from the mass transit. If I can ever get back to Seattle, I hope the Hotel Seattle is still there and as nice as this time.

Pocket Guide: Seattle Downtown Seattle 2 stars Hotels

Downtown Seattle stretches along Puget Sound from historic Pioneer Square in the south to trendy Belltown in the north. In between, office towers, shopping gallerias, and brick condos line the leafy avenues. The convention center is here, as is Pike Place Market, where salmon fly. Don't miss the futuristic main library. Seattle's twin stadiums and the International District lie south of downtown.
