The biggest tourist resort on Fuerteventura, Corralejo is split into old and new. The old part by the port is a tiny warren of narrow whitewashed alleyways leading, sooner or later, to Music Square the centre of nocturnal activities. The new part comprises low-rise hotels and apartments. Kite surfers perform eye-catching turns on the water at the fabulous broad white-sand beach, backed by a pristine protected expanse of rolling dunes.
